At the start of this year we were asked to contribute to a book about food bloggers from around the world and on the 1st of October it was released! Its called Foodies of the World. Cooking Club gives Melbourne cooking enthusiasts a chance to learn more from Melbourne’s best cooks and chef’s.
Cooking Club #1 is with Arna McCabe of Boire. Arna grew up in NZ amongst the freshest and best produce in the world, and has worked in many highly regarded Melbourne establishments including, L’Oustal, The City Wine Shop, Cumulus Inc. and now Boire.
Her passion and expertise will be invaluable to us all!
Arna will take us through some basic knife skills and will teach us about organic and biodynamic produce, textures, flavour marriages and picnic salads!
We will prepare a delightful picnic to eat and enjoy together at the end of the evening.
First Cooking Club: 02 March, 2010. 6:30pm - 8:30pm
Location: Fitzroy, Melbourne AU
Cost: $90 (includes ingredients, tuition and a take home package of some lovely kitchen wares to be used on the day)
