		<description>Haloumi with crushed prunes sound like an interesting combination. I was never a big fan of haloumi cheese, until one day an Iranian friend of mine made me have pitas stuffed with haloumi slices, lamb meatballs and apple compote.

		<description>I would never have thought to pair haloumi and dates together. Any chance of getting the name of the place you buy your haloumi? I haven't had much luck finding a good haloumi with the perfect squeak that gives away to a soft centre.</description>
